Purpose of Families

In view of   historical evidences. That in almost all societies of the world. There have always been 4 sectors of work that contribute to the functioning of society. And they are: the family, religion, government and commerce.

Among the culturally or historically defined purposes of the family are: To have children. To meet the human need for intimate relationship that comes from being made in the image of the Triune God. To be a community that displays the love, authority and relationships of the Trinity. To care for the very young and the very old. And to pass on values and faith from generation to generation.

Therefore, I stand to say that if their are people to blame/congratulate.  On why our traditional religion collapsed. It is our parents, uncles and aunt.  Not christian leaders, reverend, pastors. Because it's their (our parents, etc)  duty to pass on values and faith to us. Though I may be correct to say. It's because they loose faith in it.

My reasons for saying these are the following:

Among the people that want to occupy the position of traditional ruler of my dear town, Umudioka. Is the son of a clergy. Not just a clergy, a canon, a venerable in Anglican Communion.

Therefore I urge us, for the preservation of our cultures, custom, tradition, values, etc. We need like Eunice, the grandma of Timothy. Be deliberate in implanting our/godly values and faith on our children.
