INSIGHT ON ETERNITY

In some religious group, they talk about reincarnation. In some they talk about paradise, heaven, hell, etc. These are pointers that our heavenly father and God have put eternity in the heart of humans. Ecc 3:11. This is to say, the people of different religion are all in their own perspective, understanding, knowledge, etc. Trying to explore/explain out eternity. Permit me in this junction. To explain in my little understanding the stance/view of Christianity, with regards to eternity. In christianity, we believe according to the scriptures/bible. That humans are tripartite being. They are spirit being, having a soul, dwelling in a body. Whereas the body ages/dies. The spirit and souls dies not. This is to say, after one dies. By death here. I refers to separation of the spirit and soul from the body. The soul and spirit continues to live on. Which explains why in Obituary. You saw phrases like. He/she have gone to be with the LORD, Gone so soon. He/she have pass to the world beyound, etc. However, Christianity stance goes on to say. That, life after death(the separation of the spirit and soul from the body). Might be spent in heaven or in hell(eternal fire). Depending on the outcome of humans appearing before the judgement seat of Lord Jesus Christ. Acts 10:42; Matt. 25:31-41. Permit me to also emphasis here. That when God (our creator and father in heaven) was preparing heaven. He have we humans in mind. Matt. 25:34. But as for Hell fire. When He was preparing it. He have but, the devil and his angels/demons in mind. Matt. 25:41. This is to say. It's Gods' perfect will that all humans should make heaven. I mean spend their life after death in heaven. Spend eternity in heaven. Nothwithstanding, some will still miss heaven. Some people will still find themselves spending eternity (forever; life after death) in hell. And 1 reason that will account for this, is not practicing LOVE. Matt. 25:41-46. Which explain why the bible teaches. We should owe no man anything, except LOVE. This is to say. LOVE (both love/faithfulness towards God and Love/charity towards fellow human beings) is critical factor/characteristics of them who will make heaven. Matt. 25:34-40; Acts 10:35. Wherefore bible teaches in 1 John 4:17 to be precise. To have confidence with regards to the day of judgement. Being perfect in LOVE WALK like Lord Jesus Christ is the key. The best part of this good news is that this LOVE we are talking about is 1 of the fruit of the Holy Spirit. Which is to say. When 1 have the Holy Spirit in his/her life. He/she will have LOVE. Galatians 5:17. As for the Holy Spirit-Himself. We can receive Him into our lives, by repenting of our sins(both towards God and towards fellow humans) and being baptised in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, for the remission of sins.
